Browser extension

The EtherAssist browser extension brings chat, document context, model selection, topics, templates, and page capture support into the browser toolbar.

Before you begin

  • Confirm the integration is enabled for your tenant, plan, and role.
  • Check whether setup requires administrator access, OAuth consent, credentials, or allowlisting.
  • Prepare a small non-sensitive item for validation.
  • Do not include secrets, customer identifiers, or private tenant values in examples or screenshots.

Install

Use the browser's extension store and search for EtherAssist from EfficientEther. Install only from the official store listing for your browser.

Sign in

EtherAssist browser extension panel

  1. Open the extension.
  2. Sign in with your EtherAssist account.
  3. Confirm the account and organisation shown after sign-in.

Common uses

  • Ask about the current page.
  • Capture page context with user approval.
  • Continue a conversation without switching tabs.
  • Use templates or topics for repeatable browser-based work.

Privacy note

Only capture page content that you are authorised to process. Do not capture pages containing credentials, private keys, or unrelated personal data.

Tips

  • Keep names, prompts, and configuration values specific to the task you are performing.
  • Check role, subscription, region, and tenant policy when a feature is not visible.
