Sharing conversations
EtherAssist supports sharing conversations with the organisation or, when allowed, through public links. Use this guide to choose the right sharing option and stop sharing when access is no longer needed.

Before you begin
- Review the conversation for customer data, credentials, and sensitive content.
- Confirm tenant policy allows the sharing option you plan to use.
- Share only with the audience that needs the content.
- Redact or remove sensitive material before sharing.
Share with your organisation
- Open the conversation.
- Select the share action in the conversation toolbar.
- Choose the organisation sharing option.
- Confirm the audience and permissions.
- Share the conversation link through an approved channel.
Expected result: authorised users in your organisation can open the shared conversation.

Create a public share
- Open the share menu.
- Choose the public sharing option only when tenant policy permits it.
- Review the conversation again for sensitive content.
- Create the public link.
- Share the link only with the intended audience.

Manage shared conversations
- Open the conversation list or shared conversation view.
- Look for the shared status indicator.
- Open the sharing settings.
- Stop sharing when the link is no longer needed.
- Confirm the status indicator changes.
