Notes

Create private notes for personal reference. Notes are scoped to your user account and not shared with your organization.

Before you begin

  • Sign in to EtherAssist.
  • Decide whether the information belongs in a private note, a memory, or a shared export.
  • Do not save passwords, tokens, or sensitive customer records in notes.

Create a note

  1. Open Notes from the sidebar.
  2. Select New note.
  3. Enter the note content.
  4. Select Save.

Notes are automatically saved and appear in your notes list.

View and search notes

View all notes:

  • Navigate to Notes from sidebar
  • Notes display as cards with timestamps

Search notes:

  1. Enter keywords in search field
  2. Results filter in real-time
  3. Search looks through note content

Pagination:

  • Use Previous/Next to navigate pages
  • Select items per page (5, 10, 20)

Manage notes

Edit a note:

  1. Click the note card
  2. Edit content
  3. Click Save

Delete a note:

  1. Click delete icon on note card
  2. Confirm deletion
  3. Note is permanently removed

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Privacy and scope

  • User-scoped - Only you can see your notes
  • Not shared - Notes are not visible to admins or team members
  • Not in AI context - Notes are excluded from AI prompts
  • Local to conversation - Notes are tied to specific conversations

Best practices

  • Use notes for personal reminders and context
  • Tag important conversations with notes
  • Review and clean up notes periodically
  • Export conversations if you need to share context with team
